This site is a blog to share creativity, ideas, information, views and opinions and is just for fun. Information is subjective or otherwise, where other sources are used to supplement information provided, it will be referenced to and credited. Likewise, sources of quotes will be referenced to and credited and shared to my best ability with accuracy. As part of the content produced on this site I, Ellie Jones, may partake in advertisements or receive sponsorship, financial rewards, commission, or other compensations (for example press release products sent to me) for products or services. As part of the ethos of my blog I will only ever choose to enter the above relationships (advertisements, sponsorship, financial rewards, commission, or other compensations e.t.c) with a brand or service if I am truly passionate about sharing them with my visitors and value their products and services or value sharing them. As always, inline with my passion to share my true and honest opinions and experiences with products and services for my visitors.
How will I demonstrate these relationships in line with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)…
- When content includes advertisement I will make this clearly defined at the beginning of the content with the phrase “Ad”.
- When content includes a sponsorship (a form of payment [including gifting] is given but there is no control other than my own over the content) I will define clearly what I have received in relation to the content.
- Where affiliate links are included, if used, they will clearly be defined as advertisements, with the phrase “Ad”. This may be in relation to the entire piece content if centred around an affiliate for single product/ service/ brand or individually for each affiliate link if various affiliates are included in the content (for example, a blog post including affiliations for various brands or different products or services).
- Also, sharing of my own products or services, if produced, will also be clearly defined with the phrase “Ad”.
Content from guest blog post writers is featured on this site from time to time, with my consent and to be uploaded by myself. I do not share my login in details to this Blogger account with anyone but myself. Prior to providing guest posts I will ask my guest post writers to declare any of the above relationships and advise these are clearly defined as per this Disclosure policy and ASA and CMA guidelines. I do not and will not hold liability for any relationships included in guest posted or third party content that does not meet this Disclosure policy or ASA or CMA guidelines but will always strive to ensure my guest posters and third parties (by having this Disclosure policy visible to access and read on this site) are advised to follow this Disclosure policy or ASA or CMA guidelines.
