My Top 5 Pink Makeup Picks

Hello my pink colour loving friends! Pink has long been my favourite colour and as much as I have tried to deny it sometimes, by choosing a much more sophisticated lilac, I cannot deny myself the fact that pink has and forever will be my favourite colour. So why not combine my two favourite things into a blog post I said! And here we are.

Lets get straight to it with the heavy hitting, heart string tugging, princess worthy, Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette. I'm fully aware that the Naked Palette craze has long died down but I dreamed of owning one of these dreamy pieces for years and I will never get over how gorgeous it is. After carefully crafting my plans to pick the best of the best of the Naked palettes I brought home the Naked 3, very gratefully with the help of my boyfriend who helped me buy this for my birthday <3 What took me under its spell was its plethora of elegant yet little-girl-dream-worthy sparkling and matte pink, mauve and lilac tones. Although I have hazel eyes, the pink-y, lilac undertones of this palette still seem to work regal wonders on my eyes. Wearing theses shadows just simply makes me feel like the fairy princess I have always dreamt of being. For anyone who is not swayed by my ultra girly girl make up desires, I feel this palette is the perfect mix of sparkle and chic for all. The mattes and shimmers are beyond interchangeable and I don't believe the list of perfect pink regal looks could ever end with this palette. Not forgetting to add, these are also some of the best quality eye shadows I own and are so incredibly effortless and easy to work with. Paired with an eye primer, these shadows really do withstand every hour in the day.

Another gem in my top pink picks is the Sleek Face Form in fair. This perfect little trio is one of my most trusted makeup products and holy grail cheek products. Each of the colours compliment each other exquisitely. The blush shade gives the most dreamiest, healthy, golden pink glow and the highlight makes you feel like the beaming queen of highlighters. Focusing on the blush however for this post, what is so unique about the powder is it's rich colour mixed with creamy gold shimmers. It looks divine both on top or without makeup and stays put all day long. Definitely the prettiest blush I own.

Back to the eyes again, but this time with a drugstore classic, I present to you the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Gold [I'm starting to see a pink gold theme here]. As grossed out as many may be, I have actually had this little pot of cream eye shadow for possibly 3 years. But alas, the silver lining to this cloud is this product's impeccable ability to maintain it's creamy and workable smooth texture! All this time and it still hasn't dried out and to this day it still gives off the most richest, opaque, pink mauve-y glow when patted and smoothed onto my eye lids. Another dream of this product is also its ability to amplify just about any eye shadow you could ever dream of, giving it a subtle pink undertone. Paired with other shadows or simply on its own, this classic Maybelline product is a little pot of pretty pink joy!

In the realm of mauve-y pink makeup products, the Essence lip liner in Satin Mauve was a drugstore product I only picked up a year ago. When it comes to lip liner, well, I only have one other. It's safe to say that I'm a little picky when it comes to lip liner but this Essence offering is the most perfect shade of pink to both define my lips and intermingle with a whole plethora of pink lip shades. As well as being excellent and diverse, the pencil is also dry enough to provide a precise line, yet pigmented enough to glide on with ease and comfort. And not to mention it's astonishingly wonderful drugstore price of £1! I really need to purchase the whole collection and I really did not need to encourage myself to do that.

Last but not least has to be one of, if not the, most favourite of my makeup items. The YSl Rouge Volupté Lipstick in 32 Jealous Coral. Again pink and gold, [maybe this should have been my top pink and gold products; oops!] this lipstick is an architectural, mechanical master piece and looks worth as much as its weight in gold. The lipstick its self, although not subtle, is the perfect classic pink shade. It exudes vibrantly yet delicately at the same time on the lips and not only nourishes as it dazzles but applies with the delight-fullest watermelon scent. I have said it before and I will say it again, if I am blessed enough that a certain someone special wishes to marry me one day, this will be the lipstick I wear on my wedding day. For now it's my special occasion lipstick, that I want to be as precious as the memories I make wearing it.

Thank you for joining me in this absolute pink-fanatical makeup fest and I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I did too, gazing at all my dreamiest products. Please, if you wish, let me know in the comments your number 1 pink makeup product of all time as I would love to know! <3

P.S I would already be cracking it out but as of recent I resemble a sloth like appearance, studiously working away at my assignments :'D . It's been a wild time my friend! Xx
