Petrifying Pumpkin Carving

To accomplish this terrifying task you will need:

• a pumpkin
• pumpkin carving tools
• a tea light 

Here is another little quick and easy, "spooktacular" activity for you to try out on halloween! Begin by cutting a circle around the stalk of the pumpkin. You want the circle to be wide enough so that you can fit your hand inside the pumpkin. Once the top is off put it to one side, as you will need it later on.  Now comes the fun part...

Stick those paws in that pumpkin and get ripping it's insides out! You want to try and get the inside as clean as you can by removing all the pips and as much of the stringy stuff as possible. After ripping it's guts out you now want to prep the pumpkin for some light plastic surgery. What I mean by this is you simply want to trace your design onto your pumpkin, using a permanent marker.

 Now lets put that pumpkin under the knife and start carving. As the name suggests you just want to simply carve out around the design you have drawn. After these simple steps you should be left with something that looks a little like this ↓↓↓

P.S Don't forget to stick your tea light in and place the top back on!
