Beauty Haul

Hey lovelies! Who can resist a little beauty haul now and again ayy. After working my socks with college and a wee bit a saving I decided to treat myself to some little beauty bits.

First off is the new Barry M Natural Glow Palette 2. Now I had seen this on occasions (on Instagram and blogs) and I was most certainly drawn in by the beautifully classy, cool toned, neutral shades. The palette contains 3 matte shades, a cream, taupe and a burgundy, and 3 shimmer shades, a ice pink, chocolate brown and a darker brown. The pigmentation of the shadows aren't the strongest however they aren't weak. In my eyes they are perfect for those who tend to have trouble with the smokey eye, as the light pigmentation of the shadows prevents any panda eye incidents if you know what I mean! In addition to the 6 shades you also get an eye shadow primer. Straight to the point its not a bad primer; nothing outstanding but it seems to do the job.
Over the past few weeks I have thoroughly enjoyed using this palette and would definitely class it as one of my special ones.

Next up is the Maybelline Colour tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate. This is my third addition to my colour tattoo collection so obviously they aren't bad in my opinion XD No really these are fab. The colour pay off is always beautiful and they are so easy apply. They work great on their own and as a base. I would highly recommend these to anyone. I chose this burgundy shade with gold shimmer as I thought it would be perfect for the autumnal season and Christmas.

Now the All-In-One Insta Blur was something that I had heard of multi times on YouTube so naturally I was intrigued to see what all the fuss was about. In a primer I look for two main things; the prolonging of my make up and a barrier that helps to prevent pore clogging. I must say so far this primer has been excellent at making a substantial barrier between my make up and face. No breakouts have occurred due to this primer and I have also noticed that I tend to have small breakouts when I apply my make up without this underneath. Despite this though it's not outstanding at prolonging the wear of my make up however its strengths in other areas make up for this.
Regarding the texture of this primer it is almost like a matte jelly. Once smoothed over the skin it leaves a delightfully soft, matte texture to apply your make up over (and I really mean DELIGHTFUL).

Moving away from the face and towards the lips I decided to pick up a Sleek Matte Me liquid lipstick, in the shade Birthday Suite. I have never heard anyone speak about these before and when I saw the gorgeous brown toned nude I was very much tempted to try something a bit different. I must say I really do like this lip product; it's definitely something I wouldn't normally go for. The matte texture once dried leaves a lovely chic effect on the lips and the colour is a rich brown toned nude.

Finally, the stars of the show, my three Barry M Aquarium Effects nail polishes. The shades I picked up were Arabian (the blue gold), Caspian (the gold) and Mediterranean (the pink gold). Here are just some words to describe these polishes, elegant, glamorous, divine, delightful, exquisite, and enchanting. Who can go wrong with a good old Barry M polish ayy. I love them and that's that.

Well I do hope you enjoyed this post my bows and sparkles readers! If you have any post ideas please let me know what you would like to see.
Sparkling regards
