MAC Snob Lipstick Inspired Makeup Look

Makeup looks are one of my most favourite blog posts to write so here I bring to you today a look inspired by one of my favourite MAC lipsticks, Snob. Tones within the look are based around gentle peaches and lilacs, encased in a subtle glow. And if that sounds a bit like a look you would like to glow with then keep reading for the short 'n' sweet makeup deets!

Eyes

Starting with the eyes, to avoid fallout, I began by defusing the pale peach shade Pearl from my Makeup Revolution Flawless Mattes palette into and beyond my crease with a large fluffy brush as my transition shade. For me the Kiko eyes 200 was my brush of choice. I then slightly defined my crease in a halo shape using the shade Muse from the same palette on my Zoeva 227. In the centre where I left my lid bare I covered it in the iridescent lilac-y, pink shade 34 from the Kiko Long Lasting Stick eye shadow range. To oomph up the lilac tones I then lightly packed shade 251 from Kiko over the eye shadow stick and then lightly dusted the palest dazzling lilac shade, from the top left corner of my Kiko Color Fever eye shadow palette in 100, over this also. For both I used my Kiko eyes 203 brush.

After my base was complete I then dusted Pearl liberally under my eye with my 227 and Muse more precisely with my Zoeva 230 pencil brush. I also added my iridescent lilac shimmer pot loose powder to the inner corners of my eyes for added lilac glow. To finish the eye look I then curled my lashes and added a few layer of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

Base

Priming was completed by a light covering of the Sensitive Nivea Men Post Shave Balm after a light spritzing of MAC Fix Plus and followed by a little dapping of tissue to soak up any excess. I pin pointed and covered my spots with the NYX HD wand concealer in green and then applied a light layer of the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation all over with my damp beauty blender, in Light Porcelain. For good measure and good coverage, I then applied another light layer of this foundation, again with my damp beauty blender. As many a Youtuber often do, I applied my NYX HD concealer in Porcelain in a triangle shape under my eyes using the pointed end of my beauty blender before patting in my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder with a smaller fluffy brush. I then did the same to my entire face using my Real Techniques Expert Face brush to push and press the powder into my skin. An viola; we have skin!

Cheeks

For a lightly chiselled look I dusted a slight sprinkling of Benefit's Hoola Bronzer, with its coupled brush, in the hollows of my cheeks and on the temples of my forehead. However, to bring back the delicate pink-ish, lilac glow I then dusted Benefit's Dandelion on to the apples of my cheeks and slightly up toward my ears, using my Zoeva 127 brush. Now for the highlight I chose a loose powder, iridescent lilac eye shadow and used my usual Real Techniques Setting brush to apply it to the tops of my cheek bones, the tip of my nose, my cupids bow and my brow bone. A coloured highlight really helps to pull the magic of the look all together in my opinion!

Lips

Now to finish, post lip balm application, it would only be right to say that I applied MAC's Snob lipstick to my lips and my lovelies that was it and with that the look was complete.
