Ultimate Autumnal Makeup Look

Good day makeup lovers and autumnal fanatics! In my books the 1st of September is the first day out Autumn and what better way to celebrate than with all the colours of the season merged into one scrumptiously cosy makeup look. If you'd like to have a go at this little look yourself then please join me in the following paragraphs were I will explain step-by-step how I achieved this look and with which products.

Eyebrows

• I was going to start with "as always, I began the look with my eyes" however now I'm doing this whole brow thing we have to go brows first because they take the most tidying up now!
• For my brows I combed them out and filled them in with the shade Chrome, from the Makeup Revolution Flawless Mattes Palette, using a damp angled brush.
• I dampened my brush with Fix + from MAC (credit to Peaches and Cream for teaching me this holy eyebrow trick!).
• I then took my Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer in the shade Porcelain, on my Zoeva 322 Brow Line brush, and carefully carved out every edge of my brows.

Eyes

• No to the eyes because we are still going to need to wipe away that fall out! For eyelid priming I used my trusted NYX Proof It Eye Shadow Primer and dabbled my Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer onto my lid, using my Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer brush, to even out my eye lids. 
• I then set this with a generous dusting of my normal pressed powder, the Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory, using my large Kiko eyes 200 brush. 
• Taking the same Kiko fluffy brush, I then lightly blended the Infinity shadow in the shade 205 (the hot orange colour) from Kiko into and above my crease.
• Gradually I built the pigmentation of this colour my adding one more layer onto and above my crease with the same Kiko brush.
• Taking my Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer brush and the Kiko 205 shadow, I blended the colour into my crease again, this time a little more concisely to add depth to the shade.
• Onto the lid, I next applied the Maybelline Color Tattoo, in the shade Metallic Pomegranate, all across the lid, using my ring finger.
• I blended and added layers of this cream shadow to meet my desired opacity.
• For a more intense look, leave the centre of the lid bare.
• On top of the Maybelline Color Tattoo I then patted on the Tanya Burr pigment shadow in Creme Brulee, using a flat shader brush. (Apologies if this was limited addition. Any cranberry pigment will work wonderfully!)
• Now to the centre of the lid. It's time to add that pop and sparkle!
• Taking my Zoeva 232 Luxe Classic Shader I then grabbed a generous amount of the warm golden shade 4, from the Seventeen Easy On The Eye Birthday Suit Palette, and packed this onto the centre of the lid.
• To ensure all the colours stood out yet were blended gently I then went back in with my flat shader brush I used to apply the cranberry coloured pigment from Tanya Burr Cosmetics and gently blended the edges of this colour into the edges of the warm golden Seventeen shade.
• I then did the same with the original orange Kiko shade in the crease, using my Zoeva 231 Luxe Petit Crease brush to add depth and definition.
• Completing the eye look, I nervously painted on my winged liner, using my Soap & Glory Super Cat Liner, allowed this to dry, curled my lashes and applied two coats of my Rimmel Super Curler Mascara in Black to my top lashes.

Base

• Setting the foundations (if you will) for my foundation, I spritzed my face with my MAC Fix + and fanned until dry. Don't even think about opening those eyes until you have wafted your face dry! You don't want to smudge your hard work! (Yep, I've done that and it's painful).
• Following this, I applied my Nivea Men's Sensitive Post Shave Balm as my primer and applied a light dabble of green concealer, the Collection green concealer to be precise, to my spots and red areas.
• To lightly blend this in I again used my Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer brush.
• With a damp Beauty Blender to hand I now began applying my Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in the shade Light Porcelain (my ultimate love, hate foundation).
• Instead of applying concealer I applied two very light layers of this foundation and it worked incredibly well today using this method (it's back in my good books!).
• Swiftly apply your under eye concealer of choice now. As I did not have one (let's not mention my little Ross 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi disaster here) I simply used a small amount of my foundation, blended in an upside down triangle, using the pointed end of my Beauty Blender.
• Now to set my much loved foundation that day I baked under my eyes with the Bourjois Java Rice Powder and my beauty blender and set my face with the Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory, using my No7 powder puff.
• I then gently swiped away my under eye bake with a fluffy brush.

Cheeks

• On my mission to add a bit of an autumnal glow and warmth to my look I firstly applied my Sleek contour shade, from the Face Form Palette in Fair, to the hollows of my cheeks and (shock horror) to my temples, using my Benefit mini box blusher brush.
• Amp-ing up the glow, I then applied the highlighter from the same Sleek palette to my cheekbones, using the Real Techniques Setting Brush, and to my cupids bow, tip of my nose, brow bone and inner eye corner with my Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil brush.
• For blush I wanted something warm and pink toned to create a cosy look that represented some of the plumy, brown colours of Autumn. To the apples of my cheeks and upwards towards my ear I applied the Benefit blush Rockateur, using my Zoeva 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek brush, in  patting motions so that I did not disturb my base.

Lower Lash Line

• Now we are set and good to go and gleaming like a glowing little candle lit pumpkin it's time to bring the lower lash line into the look.
• For this I simply applied a rough dusting of the Orange-y Kiko 205 shade under my lower lashes, using my Zoeva 227 brush.
• To finish, I coated my bottom lashes with my Rimmel Super Curler Mascara.

Lips

• Isn't this just one of the most exciting parts of doing your makeup! Well sometimes; on occasions I have to have a disaster otherwise it wouldn't be me. :) Anyhooow.
• On this very day there was thankfully no lip disasters and I applied the dark cranberry shade called Dark Side from MAC.

Don't forget to spritz your face with your setting spray of choice and waft until dry to hold your Autumn look all day long!

And then I skipped off happily ever after, into the mountain of crunchy leaves. The end, haha. :)
