Disney Princess Makeup Look: Cinderella

Hello princesses, fairy tale beings and all lovely individuals alike! Today's makeup tutorial is probably one of the most exciting posts and creations I have ever produced in my entire life. I am probably the biggest girly-girl on the planet and from a young age I have always adored the beauty and enchantment of all things princess-like and fairy tale themed so to turning myself into my all time favourite Disney princess was bloomin' exciting! :D

Perfect for Halloween, fancy dress parties, everyday wear and just frolicking around the house, this Cinderella inspired makeup look is incredibly easy to create and most enchanting to wear. Eyebrows

• Beginning with the beast taming, I brushed out my brows with an eyebrow comb, dampened an angled eyebrow brush with my MAC Fix +, dabbled it in the shade Chrome from the Makeup Revolution Flawless Mattes palette and outlined and shaped my brows.
• Now I went back into the shade Chrome without applying anymore Fix + and filled in my brows, heavier on the pointed ends of my brows and lighter at the beginning of them. (I find a damp brush is best for outlining the brows and a dry brush much more efficient at filling in the brows).
• Carving out my brows I used the Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer in Porcelain on my Zoeva 322 Brow Line brush and with that my brows were complete.

Eyes

• As usual I began by priming my eyes with the NYX Proof It Eye Shadow Primer, applied my Rimmel Lasting Finish concealer on top, with my Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer brush, and set that with a generous amount of the Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory with my Kiko Eyes 200 fluffy brush.
• Now for the colour! For my transition shade I applied a light coating of MAC's mono eye shadow in the shade Tilt, a grey tinted holographic pale blue, with my Kiko Eyes 200 fluffy brush roughly in and above my crease and outer V. 
• I repeated this step once more and then applied the Kiko Water Shadow in the shade 224, a cool slightly lilac toned blue, much more tightly into my crease and outer V, using my Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer brush.
• I then very gently blended out the edges of the Kiko Water Shadow with my Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease brush just to soften the edges and blur it into the transition shade I previously applied.
• I then went in with the same Kiko Water Shadow but on my Zoeva 231 Luxe Petite Crease brush, a smaller more tapered crease brush, and again blended the shadow even more tightly into my crease and outer V.
• I then gently blended out the edges of this firstly with my Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer brush and then again, lightly, with my Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease brush.
• Defining the crease one more final time I then repeated exactly the same step as I did with my Luxe Petite Crease brush but this time with my Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil brush, blending out the edges lightly with my Luxe Petite Crease brush, Luxe Soft Definer brush and finally, my Luxe crease brush.
• Now the crease is diffused to the limits it's time for the lid shade and much less blending I promise!
• To begin, I dabbled my ring finger in the NYX  Eye Shadow Base in White and gently dabbed this onto my lid, starting from the bottom centre of my lid and dabbing and blending it out further above and around the lid.
• Once I had achieved an even opacity of the white shadow base I then lightly set it with some of my Collection Pressed Powder and my Kiko Eyes 200 fluffy brush.
• Taking my Zoeva 232 Luxe Classic Shader brush I then applied a generous amount of the shimmery champagne shade, from the Kiko Baked Eye Shadow Bright Duo in 03, all over my lid.
• Once evenly applied to both eye lids I then repeated this step with the same shadow but with the brush dampened with Fix + and patted on the shadow until my eye lids were practically bedazzled!
• Now for that princess cut wing, I went in with my Soap and Glory Super Cat Liner in black. Because I have hooded eyes I always do winged liner with my eyes open. Crazy I know (and I know I'm not the best at it!) but it really does work wonders for any fellow hooded eyelid gals out there if you are struggling with your winged liner!
• I first drew the base line of my flick from just above the crease height of my eyes towards the natural line of my lower lash line.
• I then delicately drew the thinnest of lines just along the edge of my lash lines, starting lightly and thinnest from the middle, just above three quarters of my pupil, and ever so slightly thicker towards the base of my flick I drew before.
• With my eyes open, which is the key trick here, I then join the flick and lash line together, ensuring that the liner was underneath where my skin creases on my eye lid. This allows you to still see the liner rather than have the fold of skin on the hooded lid cover it up.
• Wafting for a moment, I allowed to my liner dry and then curled my lashes and applied two generous coatings of the Rimmel Super Curler Mascara in Black to my top lashes.
• In preparation for the bottom lash line bedzzling later I also now applied some white eye liner to my water line (I used the George ASDA Khol liner but sadly it wasn't too fab so I'd recommend any but this one). 

Base

• To the base my friends! As always, I covered my eyes (don't want to smudge the hours of hard graft and blending) and spritzed Fix + all over my face, smoothed a ten pence sized amount of my Nivea Men's Post Shave Balm all over my face as my primer and then patted this in to achieve a tacky foundation for my, you guessed it, foundation.
• To ensure I had an even base fit for a princess I then went in with my usual Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Green and applied and dabbed a small dot to each spot of redness on my face. I blended this out in dabbing motions with my finger.
• Once set I then took my Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in the shade Light Porcelain and applied a thin, light layer of this, in sections, all over my face, using my damp Beauty Blender.
• I repeated this step and applied a second light layer to achieve a full and flawless coverage and then applied a small dabble of my Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer, with my Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer brush, to any spots still visible.
• Tying the base together I then concealed my under eyes in upside-down triangles with my Seventeen Stay Time Concealer in Extra Fair, blending this in from outer point to inner eye in a clock-wise motion with my Beauty Blender.
• To set I would highly recommend baking your under eye concealer immediately with a translucent lose powder however I have ran out of mine so I set it with a generous amount of my Collection Pressed Powder and my Beauty Blender and for the rest of my face I gently patted in my Seventeen Miracle Matte Pressed Powder in Porcelain with my No7 Powder Puff.

Cheeks

• For this look I chose not to contour and just to stick to blush and highlight as I felt it was more Disney princess-like to keep the cheeks fresh and plump.
• For blush I applied the M&S Limited Collection dusky baby pink blush from the Christmas Pink Blush Palette (any dusky baby pink colour will work wonderfully) to the apples of my cheeks and just a little higher in a diagonal shape up to the tops of my ears.
• For my highlight I then took my Ted Baker champagne pigment which was also from a Christmas set (apologies in advance! Any champagne pigment with an iridescent lilac pink glow will work wonderfully) and applied this to the tops of my cheeks bones with my Real Techniques Setting Brush and to my cupids bow, tip of my nose, brow bone and inner corners of my eye with my Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil brush.

Lower Lash Line

• To finish off the eyes and the whole look I lastly went into the lower lash line with a little of the Kiko Water Eye Shadow in 224 on my Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer brush and just added a touch of blue to the outer three quarters of my lower lash line.
• To finish, I applied one light coat of my Rimmel Super Curler Mascara that I used on my top lashes now to my bottom lashes.

Lips

• Your Cinderella look is nearly complete! At this point I simply lined my lips with the Essence Lip Liner in Satin Mauve and then applied the Natural Collection Sheer Natural Lipstick in Sand Castle to my lips. This was literally the perfect muted dusky pink shade Cinderella sports in her dazzling Disney pictures!

Spritz your face (mind those eyes!) with a last sprinkle of Fix +, do a little spin and waft until dry and viola! Cinderella shall go to the ball!
