Well hello August and see you later almost! How has the Summer gone so quick! I love Autumn as much as the next person I'm a little sad Summer has almost been and gone. July feels like it lasted a breath and although I found myself loving a lot of things I talked about in my June Favourites there wasn't lots to add to my July favourites and no makeup it seems! Nevertheless the few things I have included in my July Favourites below I very much loved a lot so they were very much worth sharing. Oh and don't worry my fellow beauty lovers, there's still some style!

M&S Bras Underwired Full Cup T-Shirt Bra
Well is there much better than a comfy bra? I'd hazard a guess yes but it's got to be up there! At the end of June I went on a proper big shopping trip with my mum and treating myself to some new underwear and getting long overdue-ly bra re-measured was on my agenda and of course I went to M&S - am I old or is it a mutual agreement that M&S just do the best underwear? It's probably been about 10 years since I last had a bra fitting, which is not great, yikes! Although I may not be the owner of an over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder-worthy bust I still think it's just as important to get re-measured both for comfort and for your posture. Anyway, I went for some of the plain and simple Underwired Full Cup T-Shirt Bras in white and nude and though seemingly plain and simple they have been bloody amazing! Although they seem pretty basic they're simple but pretty and have some lovely little dainty lace detail and a little bow. Got to love a bow. ;) Since first try though I have just been obsessed with how comfy they are! The fit is amazing and they just feel like a very good fitting pair of slippers for your boobs, but with a little more glam than your average pair of well worn fluffy house shoes!
If you've never been measured and fitted for a bra before or even think there's been no significant change to warrant getting re-measured I'd highly recommend getting it done anyway. I was highly doubtful there was much change to me and my chest but with a minimal change the difference going for a fitting made in terms of comfort was beyond my belief! Also the ladies in M&S were just lovely and made it a breeze!
H&M Orange Floral Dress
As you might have seen featured in the pictures in my June Favourites I've been having an awful lot of love for this H&M Orange Floral dress I got on that very big shopping trip with my mum. Now for some reason I couldn't find mine on the H&M website despite it being part of their new Summer collection however it's the same print as the one I've linked, just with little straps instead of cap sleeves. I think one of my favourite days this Summer was the first time I wore this out at the end of June and me and my friend Laura took a trip to Parkgate, had lunch at a lovely little café called The Real Food Kitchen and ate ice cream on the front. A lovely day!
Sister Café
Oh my goodness words CANNOT describe how incredible Sister Cafe is! So one impromptu coffee date with a friend and I fell in love with Sister. They have the cutest little dinky place, dressed in beige colours with a very Pinterest-able aesthetic. They have a small glass and gold cabinet on the counter top and it is just filled to the brim with every goodie imaginable from Teacake Cakes. They had such an incredible variety of coffees, iced and hot, too. When I visited with my friend Grace we both had cookie pies and I had the mint iced mocha, which I can only described as an iced Aero - dreamy sounding I know right? <3 And yep, so many vegan options, in fact the entire cake collection on the day we visited was vegan but despite you'd never be able to have told the difference and everything just looked outside this world. I could have taken a tiny slice of everything! Since paying my first ever trip there I have been eagerly anticipating my next trip there - seriously I've been telling everyone we should go! I think I'm making a trip there again soon and my sweet toothed loving heart is just beaming at the thought!
2000's Alternatives - Spotify
Well it's not normally something I talk a lot about on the blog but if we're talking favourites I have been absolutely loving a right throwback throughout July and I've been listening to all manner of 2000#s throwbacks on Spotify. I think maybe it start with a rekindled love for Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging, which I watched approximately three times in a row after it appeared on Netflix a few months back. While working out I've been listening to a lot of 2000's alternatives playlists, filled with bands from The Kooks to Kate Nash, Scouting for Girls and The Coral. Okay maybe you might not class it as all alternative and there's a fair few pop throwbacks there, like Lily Allen, but they just don't make it all like they did back then. It's an era and I've been listening to and loving of recent.
So there we have, a small but mighty list, of everything that was excellent enough to make my July favourites! And, as you might have guessed, yep my August favourites will sure be soon to follow! I know I half committed to sharing another post between this and my June favourites, which didn't happen oops - but I'd like to say there will more than likely be something a bit different coming next post and before I share my August favourites. On a little side note, the reason I have been a little quite over here of recent is because... I had my first exam in my new job... and I passed! So my apologies for being a rubbish blogger, I've just been putting my time and energy into work and my test of recent.
Nevertheless, enjoy what's left of the Summer and don't take these little last snippets of warm sunshine for granted! I am enjoy the last of the Summer days but equally get right into the excitement of Autumn dressing (oh has anyone seen those Zara grandma knit jumpers with toadstool mushrooms and little sheep on!).
